It was the best project ever. I play soccer with the Ohio Elite Ky soccer club. On Wednesday (before Thanksgiving), we cooked and served dinner to close to 170 people at The Forgotten Louisville.

Forgotten Louisville and other organizations like this are an easy serving opportunity for teams.

Our soccer club was able to come together and bring the best ever Thanksgiving meal to everyone. We had turkeys, hams, casseroles, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, mac & cheese, green beans, corns, pies, all kinds of desserts and drinks. So many players and their family from the club came and brought food.

I asked Coach Charlie what he thought about us serving here. He thought it was a great idea. Coach Charlie, who is the Director of the club, sent an email to the entire club encouraging everyone to take part in this service project. A big Thank You Coach Charlie!

If you are on a team, I hope you will take the lead to organize a service project to do together as a team.
