UP for Women and Children is a Day Center that will be opening to provideĀ a safe space for homeless women and children to go during the day to access showers, laundry, case managers and social services. Homeless women have very unique needs that are not currently being served in Louisville. There is no day center for only women, that offers comprehensive access to hygiene and social services. UP will be opening their doors later this year and RAK Louisville has partnered with them to stock them with some basic supplies.
